At 39 years old, Hemsworth discovered this unsettling genetic predisposition during filming for the Disney+ documentary series “Limitless,” where he explored ways to enhance his longevity and overall health. The revelation struck him as his greatest fear, but given the disease’s presence in his family, it wasn’t entirely unexpected. His grandfather was undergoing treatment for Alzheimer’s at the time.
