Greetings, Turks and Caicos!
The bright morning greets the team of Good Morning America, who recently embarked on a delightful adventure through the island waters of Turks and Caicos. Robin Roberts, one of the show’s anchors, generously shared a captivating snapshot of their yacht outing on Instagram last Saturday.

Robin, 62, journeyed alongside her fellow co-anchors Sam Champion and Gio Benitez, accompanied by travel correspondent Emily Kaufman and their companions.
“Grateful for this much-needed break that began with an incredible time at @taylorswift’s concert… then we found ourselves in our cherished destination, Key West… and now we’re off on a trip to #turksandcaicos with the #travelsquad,” expressed Roberts, expressing her gratitude to Benitez’s husband, Tommy DiDario, for organizing the expedition. “It has been a truly spectacular experience in every imaginable way! However, reality beckons, as I must depart a day early for a work assignment on the West Coast,” she added.
Roberts concluded her post on a cheerful note, using the hashtag #saturdayvibes and writing, “Although I’m not sad that our vacation has come to an end, I’m glad and blessed that it happened!”
Benitez, 37, also captured a heartwarming Boomerang moment aboard the yacht, alongside his beloved spouse, which he shared on Instagram. In the caption, he playfully quoted Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers’ “Islands In the Stream,” saying, “🎶 Islands in the stream. That is what we are. 🎶”
On Friday, the ABC newsman posted a group photograph, exclaiming, “Celebrating love and friendship on a magical island. Wishing you a happy Friday! #TravelSquad #LoveSquad.” Kaufman, recognized as “The Travel Mom” and a frequent guest on GMA, also shared the same image on her Instagram, affectionately referring to their group as “The Best Vacation Squad!”
“There are simply not enough words to describe the love, respect, and admiration I have for this extraordinary group of individuals,” she wrote. “We are relishing this marvelous getaway in one of the most stunning locations I have ever had the pleasure of visiting.”
