However, she later achieved worldwide success as a solo artist. With her music and boundless vitality, Tina Turner captivated millions of fans and inspired countless artists in subsequent generations.” The statement continued, “Her unique legacy includes global hits like ‘What’s Love Got To Do With It,’ ‘Private Dancer,’ and ‘The Best,’ with over 180 million albums sold, 12 Grammy Awards, and more than three decades of sold-out stadium tours around the world.”

Dolly Parton, a contemporary and friend of Tina Turner, shared a heartfelt message on a simple white background that read, “Now she’s rollin’ rollin’ rollin’ on to glory. Roll on Tina. We will always love you.” Mick Jagger expressed his grief and referred to Turner as “an enormously talented performer and singer.” He shared several images of the singer, including one with himself passionately singing alongside her. Sending condolences to Tina Turner’s family and loved ones,” accompanied by a picture of the two women together.

Even former President Barack Obama was devastated by the loss. He praised Tina Turner, stating, “She was raw, powerful, and unstoppable. She fearlessly spoke and sang her truth through joy and pain, triumph and tragedy. Today, we join fans around the world in honoring the Queen of Rock and Roll, and a star whose light will never fade.” Oprah Winfrey, who considered Turner her role model, shared her profound sadness, recalling how Turner inspired and encouraged her. Bassett wrote, “Tina Turner showed others who lived in fear what a beautiful future filled with love, compassion, and freedom should look like.
