Keanu Reeves Radiates Happiness with Partner Alexandra Grant on the Red Carpet

It’s wonderful to witness this heartwarming moment!

At the Museum of Contemporary Art Gala in Los Angeles last Saturday, the public caught a glimpse of an endearing sight—a romantic kiss exchanged between the two individuals.

Keanu Reeves had endured a prolonged period of singleness, having faced immense personal tragedy in the past. He experienced the devastating loss of his stillborn daughter during his relationship with Jennifer Smye, who tragically passed away in an accident shortly after. Although they had separated by then, these events had a profound impact on the actor’s life.

However, Keanu Reeves has found solace and love once again in his girlfriend, Alexandra Grant. Their radiance was undeniable as they graced the red carpet at a recent art gala. The Matrix star, aged 58, looked dashing in a black suit complemented by a striped tie, while Grant turned heads in her stunning red dress.

Throughout the event, held at the Geffen Contemporary at MOCA in LA, the couple remained inseparable, their hands intertwined—a testament to their affection for each other, as reported by the Daily Mail.

This couple is renowned for their commitment to privacy, guarding the details of their personal lives and relationship. Nonetheless, Reeves recently sat down for an interview with PEOPLE, expressing the joy he experiences with his artist partner.

When asked about the last time he felt pure bliss, the John Wick star replied, “A couple of days ago with my honey. We were in bed. We were connected. We were smiling and laughing and giggling. Feeling great. It was just really nice to be together.”

Interestingly, the couple first made their relationship public at an art gala back in November 2019. The occasion was the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) Art and Film Gala. They had initially crossed paths in 2011 while collaborating on various projects, most notably the books Ode To Happiness and Shadows, where Grant contributed her artistic talent to Reeves’ poetry.

Grant, a distinguished artist who graduated from Swarthmore College in 1994, has seen her artwork showcased in exhibitions worldwide, including at LACMA, the Galerie Gradiva in Paris, and The Harris Lieberman Gallery in New York. Despite her career accomplishments and the evident strength of her relationship, Grant has faced unwarranted criticism online, particularly regarding her natural gray hair.

In response, Grant took to Instagram to explain, “I went gray prematurely in my early 20s… and dyed my hair every color along the way until I couldn’t tolerate the toxicity of the dyes anymore. In my 30s, I let my hair turn ‘blonde.’ I love and support that every womxn can choose how she wants to look at every age. But/and, if womxn are perishing from beauty standards… then let’s talk about those beauty standards. Love to all womxn!”

During a 2020 interview with Vogue, Grant further discussed her enduring relationship with Reeves, addressing the topic of marriage with a playful response: “Over a glass of wine… I would love to tell you. Love at every level is deeply important to my identity. How’s that for dodging the question? I do not believe that isolation is the way. There is a period of isolation that I do as a painter, but I deeply value the experience of being in relationships.”

According to close friends of Reeves, the actor firmly believes that Grant is “the one.” Speculations about a potential proposal have sparked conversations, and sources close to him revealed that he has been discussing marriage with his inner circle, even going so far as to shop for engagement rings in West Hollywood, as reported by Closer Weekly.

Keanu Reeves, a remarkably humble actor, has captured the hearts of people across generations, earning their adoration for good reason—he simply seems like an incredible person!
