Madonna’s Family Shares Heartbreaking Update as the Star is Urgently Admitted to ICU: ‘Fears of Losing Her Gripped Everyone’

Renowned singer Madonna, known for her exceptional career spanning several decades, had been eagerly preparing for her ‘Greatest Hits’ tour, where she planned to mesmerize audiences with her iconic music from the past four decades. However, an unexpected turn of events has disrupted these plans as Madonna has been admitted to the hospital. Read on to discover more about this situation.

The highly anticipated Celebration Tour, scheduled to kick off next month, has now been postponed due to Madonna’s sudden decline in health. Guy Oseary, the singer’s manager, issued a statement to shed light on the recent events unfolding in Madonna’s life.

On Saturday, reports surfaced that Madonna was found unconscious in New York and swiftly rushed to the hospital due to a severe bacterial infection. Oseary’s statement revealed, “On Saturday, June 24, Madonna contracted a serious bacterial infection, leading to her admission to the intensive care unit, where she has remained for several days. While her health is improving, she continues to receive medical attention.” He expressed optimism about the 64-year-old singer’s eventual full recovery. However, a close relative of Madonna, speaking in an interview, disclosed that the family had been apprehensive and prepared for the worst in the past few days, fearing the potential loss of Madonna.

The relative confided, “That’s why we kept it under wraps since Saturday. We all thought we might lose her, and unfortunately, that seemed to be the reality at the time.” Concerns were raised about Madonna’s mindset, with the relative sharing, “She’s always believed she’s invincible and has been pushing herself too hard in recent months.”

According to Oseary’s latest update, Madonna’s condition appears to be stable, but her schedule will require significant adjustments. He stated, “Currently, we need to suspend all commitments, including the tour.” Though she is no longer in the ICU, Madonna continues to receive medical care.

The globally acclaimed singer had been eagerly anticipating the Celebration Tour, slated to commence in Vancouver, British Columbia, on July 15. However, as Madonna focuses on recuperating, the tour will be rescheduled to later dates.

Before this disheartening news, Madonna shared backstage pictures on her Instagram, offering a glimpse into her preparations for the upcoming tour. Accompanying the post was the caption, “The calm before the storm.”
