Patrick Mahomes is gearing up for some exciting adventures alongside his adorable little girl. Over the weekend, Brittany Mahomes, 27, wife of the NFL quarterback and co-owner of the Kansas City Current, shared glimpses of their family’s summer travel preparations on her Instagram Story.
“Here we go again 😂 Home for 2 days & leaving again! Patrick just wrapped up OTAs and only has one month before he heads to training camp… so we’ve decided to make the most of that entire month, embracing the YOLO spirit and traveling,” she wrote.
One photo showcased their daughter, Sterling Skye, 2, sitting on her father’s back atop a hiking backpack, ready for some outdoor adventures. “We are all set for a hiking trip,” Brittany excitedly shared.
Another photo captured the joyful toddler in the backseat of their car, her nails and sunglasses matching, as she played with a phone in her hands while sporting a cute bow in her hair. Meanwhile, Brittany shared another picture of their 6-month-old son, Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, who she jokingly said “thinks he’s all grown up holding his own bottle.” The photo showed the little one staring defiantly at the camera as he fed in his mother’s arms.
Patrick and Brittany, high school sweethearts, celebrated their first wedding anniversary in March. They got engaged in September 2020, shortly after the Chiefs’ Super Bowl ring ceremony, when Mahomes proposed to the former professional soccer player. To mark the special occasion, Brittany shared a carousel of photos from their enchanting Maui wedding.
“Happy 1st Anniversary,” she lovingly wrote. “It was one of the best weeks of my life, marrying your best friend is truly one of the greatest things you can experience!”
She added, “Nothing compares to journeying through life with you and our beautiful children. Year 1 was full of excitement, and we look forward to many more. It’s you and me forever.”
