The 58-year-old Avengers star expressed his excitement about the meal on Instagram, sharing a video set to the tunes of a classic Frank Sinatra song.

In the video, Downey savors the delectable dish while exploring Tucci’s impressive kitchen. Clearly impressed, the movie star affectionately kisses Tucci on the cheek, and the two share a post-dinner laugh. Downey thanked Tucci’s wife, Felicity Blunt, for making him feel like family during the delightful dinner.

Tucci also posted about the gathering, revealing that he cooked for not just Downey but 11 other guests as well. He shared the list of ingredients for the cod recipe, which included capers, fresh tomatoes, onions, garlic, basil, and black and green olives.

The special treatment was well-deserved, as Downey stars in the upcoming historical drama “Oppenheimer,” directed by Christopher Nolan. The actor recently declared it to be the best film he’s ever been a part of. The movie, premiering in U.S. theaters on July 21, portrays Downey as Lewis Strauss, the primary antagonist to the titular physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer.

At the London premiere of “Oppenheimer,” Downey expressed his excitement for the film and how it transcends expectations.
